ReStore Accepted Donations for Dropoff

This page contains a list of the items the Chattanooga ReStore accepts for drop off at either store. If you don’t see your items listed or if you have other questions, please call the Donations Manager at 423-634-1004, Ext 1. or email at mhayes@habichatt.org.

Items must be in clean, reusable condition at time of pick up. We do not have the capacity to repair furniture or appliances.

Furniture – In Decent, Reusable Condition

  • Chest of Drawers

  • Dining Room Tables and Chairs

  • Bureaus

  • Buffets

  • China Cabinets

  • Bookshelves

  • Outdoor/Patio

  • Desks

  • Entertainment Centers

  • Sofas'

  • Sectionals

  • Love Seats

  • Recliners

  • Tables

  • Dressers

  • Beds

  • Bed Frames

  • Bedside Tables

  • Wardrobes/ Armoires

  • Recreational Tables

Upholstered furniture cannot have excessive stains, tears, odors, or pet hair. Faux leather furniture cannot be peeling or otherwise damaged.

Appliances – In Working Condition

  • Refrigerators

  • Freezers

  • Range Hoods

  • Small appliances (i.e.: toasters, blenders, crock pots, etc.)

  • Furnaces, Air Conditioners

  • Stoves

  • Range Tops

  • Ovens

  • Microwaves

  • Washing Machines

  • Dryers

Building Materials (preferably new) and without nails!

  • Brick/Block

  • Fencing

  • Windows – Double Hung, Picture, Bay – All complete with frames. (We will accept the older wood windows for our creative customers and decorators)

  • Doors

  • Plywood

  • Sheetrock

  • Insulation (new)

  • Unused Lumber (6’ or more)

  • Trim (6’ or more)

  • Countertops

  • Kitchen Islands

  • Sinks (no faucets)

  • New PVC Pipe/Connection pieces (no used pieces).

  • Light Fixtures

  • Complete Door Knobs sets/Deadbolts and Keys

  • Cabinet Knobs/Pulls

  • New Electrical Hardware (nothing out of box)

  • Plumbing Hardware – no metal

  • Bathroom Hardware
