Linda Sneary,  Construction Staff Support

 I have been in the Social Services arena for the last 15 years and, like most in the social work business, was discouraged.  We continue to see the same people cycle through for help.  I had been in the business long enough that I was starting to see children of long time clients come in for assistance.  How do you break that cycle and mentality?  How do you truly make a difference?  I think the answer comes in the type program that Habitat for Humanity offers with change occurring from both the outside and within.  Our Homeowner Education program and our Homeownership program address both aspects.  I enjoy putting together the offer to help with the various ways Habitat helps.  I am blessed with a position that allows me to see lives truly changed.
